LG launches mobile service center in Oman
Geographical and transportation limitations within Oman have prompted the launch of LG Electronics’ first mobile service center in the Middle East. Oman Gulf Enterprises LLC (OTE Group), distributors and service agents for digital manufacturer LG Electronics converted a new Isuzu truck into the mobile center and installed service equipment and stocks of spare parts for LG’s of electrical and digital appliances.
“Our intention is that most service requirements for LG’s electronic and home appliances within a radius of 400 kilometers around Muscat will be met by the nomadic service within 24 hours,” said D. Swaminathan, OTE Group senior general manager. LG already operates a service center in Ghala and service facilities in many interior towns in Oman. — (menareport.com)
