Malaysian firm to complete Fortune Tower in Dubai within 17 months
Malaysia's IJM Corporation Bhd has recently submitted several bids for construction works the Gulf region. IJM chief executive officer and managing director, Datuk Krishnan Tan Boon Seng, said "We have a very active bidding program offshore, and we have just won our first job in West Asia which is the 39-storey Fortune Tower in Dubai."
"We believe the (Fortune Tower) enhancement of the order book will come from offshore," he added, according to BERNAMA.
Fortune Tower in Dubai will take 17 months to complete. "We are supposed to take possession of site next week," he said.
He added that IJM was now concentrating on Dubai, Bahrain and Qatar.
