Several Kuwaiti firms, including Aayan Leasing and Investments, Aayan Real Estate, and Kuwait Commercial Markets Complex Company signed an investment contract with the Saudi Bin Laden Group regarding "Al-Hajer Tower" Project in Mecca. The costs of this project is put at KD120 million ($410.9 million), reported the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Watan (June 1, 2005).
It should be mentioned that "Al-Hajer Tower" will include 10 storey hotel tower and 21 storey apartment tower.
