MobileCom sets future GSM technologies at MEXCOM 2000
MobileCom will be showcasing some of the latest GSM technologies and services available at MEXCOM 2000, being held at the Zara Expo Center from September 5 until September 8, a statement by MobileCom said.
“MobileCom is looking forward to participating at MEXCOM 2000, which we and Jordan Telecom are sponsoring, as this will be our first public appearance since the company began building its network less than eight months ago,” said Jean-Luc Vuillemin, CEO of MobileCom.
“MobileCom will be giving presentations and demos on some of the most dynamic technologies and services taking the world by storm. We want to encourage all Jordanians to come and visit us at our stand in the main hall, and see the future of wireless communication,” he added.
Visitors will be able to try out the MobileCom's voice network and test MobileCom's future Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) service and try out the WAP applications portal which will enable users to retrieve information from the Internet directly to the mobile phone.
“MobileCom will be highlighting state-of-the-art technologies at MEXCOM 2000 as it prepares for its Kingdom-wide launch on September 15. We believe that Jordanians have waited too long for what Europe and the rest of the world have been enjoying for years: Cutting edge services with the highest quality at competitive prices. We are looking forward providing these benefits to our customers,” said Vuillemin. — ( Jordan Times )
