Morocco’s Ramadan meat and milk consumption
The Moroccan committee in charge of assuring consumer supplies during the month of Ramadan expects that the total consumption of domestic milk will rise as high as 51.5 liters, with 6 million of these pasteurized.
According to a report appearing recently in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, this committee has estimated that during this holy month, the local production facilities will be able to satisfy the public’s demands for meat products.
The consumption of red meat during this period is estimated at 24,800 tons, while the white meat consumption is expected to reach 16,600 tons. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
