The pavilion of ADNOC & Its Group of Companies at the Offshore Technology Conference and Exhibition OTC 2012 which opened in Houston, Texas, USA yesterday attracted thousands of visitors who flocked for an experience of the distinct stand, designed as a replica of the historic Al Jahili Fort of Al Ain.
A high level delegation from ADNOC and its Group of Companies led by Mr. Saif Al Ghafli, Chief Executive Officer, Al Hosn Gas, attended the opening of the OTC 2012.
The stand which has been designed to represent the UAE’s unique heritage and reflect the size and image of ADNOC & its Group of Companies received many delegates and visitors in the first day of the OTC, which continues until May 3.
A delegation led by Mr. Mohamed Thani Al Romaithi, President of the UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, accompanied by members of the Chamber of Commerce and other businessmen from Abu Dhabi Business community visited ADNOC’s pavilion and were impressed by the stand. Another delegation from the UAE Embassy in Washington also visited the stand among many other visitors from the oil and gas sectors.
The Group's participation in this major global event is part of their efforts to keep abreast with the current trends in the oil and gas industry. It is also an opportunity for the Group to share their expertise in the oil and gas industry with others and benefit from the latest technologies that contribute significantly in the development of gas and petrochemical industries in Abu Dhabi. Delegates from ADNOC and its Group of Companies will also make presentations at the OTC conference, mainly tackling issues related to offshore operations.
As part of their participation in this premier event, ADNOC & its Group of Companies are highlighting their CSR activities which reflect the major role they play in the progress and growth of the local community.
The Groups initiatives and many projects which demonstrate their compliance with their social responsibility obligations are being highlighted in many ways at the stand with focus on social, economic and educational sectors.
