One of the major juice manufacturing companies in Saudi Arabia continues to implement its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and is launching several social awareness campaigns especially aimed at the all-round development of students, enabling them to become active members of the society. Accordingly, to achieve its goals Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company recently started to welcome students from various schools, following the commencement of the new academic year, at its premises, giving them an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the juice manufacturing process and Al Rabie’s modern facilities.
This initiative also complements other programs and schemes launched by Al Rabie as it seeks to introduce students to ‘made in Saudi Arabia’ products and provide them an overview about dairy products, juices and the food industry in the Kingdom.
"The number of visitors to our factories reached more than 2,300 during the last semester. The educational process does not only involve the transfer of information, but also the development of a student's all-round personality. Psychological counseling services for students in schools also supplement the educational process," said Abdul Mohsen Abu Harba, Director of the Communications, Public Relations and Social Activities department at Al Rabie.
"The development of students’ personalities is an integral part of the educational process. From this point of view, Al Rabie receives students at the company headquarters and factories in order to help them develop their personality and skills and also help them better understand themselves and the real world around them, so that they can overcome life’s challenges," he added.
"We have also visited a number of schools to introduce Al Rabie's healthy juices and the nutritional value of the company's products. The initiative is part of the programs through which we seek to help students enhance their interpersonal skills and deal confidently with other members of the society,” Abu Harba concluded.
