Dr. Fahad Al-Jarpoa - CEO of Al-Tayyar Travel Group
Al-Tayyar Travel Group has announced being the diamond sponsor for the “Career Day” in the United Kingdom, through its ongoing policy to build Saudization in the Travel and Tourism industry. Indeed they are keen to attract fresh Saudi graduates to offer them great job opportunities and guide them during their careers.
Dr. Fahad Al-Jarpoa - CEO of Al-Tayyar Travel Group - commented on the importance of being represented during the “Career Day” in the UK, by saying: “The “Career Day” in the UK is considered to be one of the most important activities on our schedule this year. We believe in such event, as it can create opportunities for students to meet up with Saudi managers, in order to respond to their ambitions and develop their skills.”
Dr. Fahad added: “We bet on the future and on our local managers to develop the corporate mechanisms in the Travel and Tourism industry. Al-Tayyar Travel Group has reached 25% of managers and qualified Saudi employees, who occupy important positions and play a major role in the Al-Tayyar Travel Group”.
Al-Tayyar Travel Group played its role by developing and training Saudi managers through the “Al-Tayyar Training Academy”, and cooperate with different Governmental sectors, such as the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Chambers of Commerce and also private sectors to attract Saudi human resources, in order to manage and to keep up with the fast development of the traveling and tourism industry.
Currently, Al-Tayyar Travel Group is ranked in the “Green zone” according to the Al-Nitagat program, created by the Saudi Ministry of Labor. Indeed this is due to their efforts to concentrate on Saudization, which is part of their internal strategy.
Al-Nitagat program was developed to motivate industries to apply Saudization as a brand new standard. The ranking is divided into 4 zones: excellent, green, yellow, and red. Therefore, Saudization can become a new feature for different sectors to compete.
In 2011, Al-Tayyar Travelling Group was ranked 1st and won the golden award for “His Royal Highness Prince Naif bin Abdullaziz Al-Sood” during the 7th edition. Al-Tayyar Travel Group is now able to put its mark on the map because of the prize won against 12 different industries, keeping in mind, they joined the competition for the first time.
