Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co., a leading provider of technology-based end-to-end solutions in the Middle East, has received the distinguished ‘Platinum’ rating for Saudization under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ‘Nitaqat’ system. Only a few Saudi companies have attained this highest ranking within the Kingdom’s comprehensive Nationalization program.
Implemented last September 2011, the Nitaqat system prioritizes the hiring of Saudi nationals and the reduction unemployment in the country. It imposes a quota on Nationals working for Saudi-based companies. Compliance is categorized as Red (non-compliant), Yellow (insufficient), Green (fully compliant), and Platinum (exceptional Saudization). With Saudi Nationals comprising almost 600 of its 983 employees, Alfalak has joined an elite group of companies that have been able to exceed Nitaqat requirements and qualify for the 4th and highest ranking under the system. .
“Saudization has always been a priority for Alfalak. We recognize the valuable contributions Nationals can make not only for our company but for the country’s development as well. We thank Nitaqat for this honor and will view it as a strong motivation for further developing the personal and professional potentials of our Saudi workforce,” said Ahmed Ashadawi, CEO and President, Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co.
