Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, will kick off a regional Business Partner Conference roadshow on December 7 - 8, 2011 before moving to Turkey and South Africa. The three city event will bring together more than 900 Avaya Business Partners from the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region to recap Avaya’s performance in 2011 and highlight the company’s strategies for regional growth in 2012.
Avaya’s outlook for 2012 includes increasing investment in developing its channel ecosystem, and aiming for a standard global channel organization and infrastructure to ultimately increase its sales through the channel. Avaya’s channel-centric strategy drives neutrality and linearity, while focusing on the delivery of business-enhancing solutions to vertical markets including hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and public sector. Rotana Group and Bank Muscat case studies will also be showcased at the event.
The conference will feature insight from top executives including Olivier Baraquin, Avaya’s Head of Networking and Video, EMEA; and Nidal Abou-Ltaif, Vice President, Emerging Markets; who will provide insight on opportunities for Avaya’s business partners in unified communications, contact centres, networking and the Middle East’s SMB sectors.
The Avaya Connect partner programme is evolving to reflect changing channel dynamics and ensure that Avaya partners in the Middle East & Africa are equipped to deliver the broadest possible solution sets to their customers. With a growing emphasis on innovation and value, plus the release of more than 60 new products over the past 18 months, Avaya is driving a focus on increasing the competency, customer satisfaction and competitive advantage of its channel partners.
Recipients of Avaya Business Partner Awards, which recognize channel partners for market growth and achievements during 2011, will also be announced at the conference.
“2011 marks Avaya’s largest-ever emerging markets partner conference, taking place in three different countries and launching in the UAE. Our goal is to enable our partners to generate momentum as companies look for better customer care solutions, access to cloud networks, and increased collaboration across regional offices – all of these initiatives create significant business opportunities for Avaya’s partners in the region. Whether in developing expertise for specific industries or implementing new solutions such as video-enabled customer service and social media integration, Avaya is ensuring that our partners have the training, skills, and tools needed to address these opportunities.” Nidal Abou-Ltaif , Vice President Emerging Markets, AVAYA
