Canadian Specialist Hospital (CSH), one of the largest private hospitals in Dubai catering to the tertiary health care needs of the Middle East, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program for Awladouna Center for Learning & Rehabilitation, a center for children with special needs, located in Sharjah.
The event, held in the last week of November at the hospital’s premises, witnessed crucial interactions between the hospital’s medical team and the mothers of students of the Center, as well as staff. The aim was to educate the Center’s mothers and teachers on the effect and importance of regular checkups, self-examination, causes of breast cancer and how to develop healthy eating habits.
