HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), inaugurated the 4th Health and Safety Week held at Reef Mall in Dubai. The event featured lectures on health and principles of first aid, painting workshops, safe driving licences for children, several contests on safety and free medical tests.
“The Health and Safety Week supports our vision to become a sustainable world-class utility, and adopt the highest international standards of safety and health. The event is a part of our strategy based on adhering to integrated administrative systems to promote health and safety,” said Al Tayer.
“With a focus on the sustainable use of resources, and to provide water and electricity at the highest levels of reliability, efficiency and safety, we are committed to providing the highest international standards of health and safety for our employees, customers, partners and community. DEWA has the expertise and qualified staff to fulfil its commitments,” added Al Tayer.
