Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising a series of charity and social events as part of its participation in ‘Zayed Humanitarian Work Day,’ launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, as a tribute in memory of the father and the founder of the UAE, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The list of initiatives by DEWA includes lectures and seminars on charity work in collaboration with the Dubai Volunteering Center, as well as a weekly newsletter on the life of the founder of the UAE, HH Sheikh Zayed. DEWA will provide a designated space at all of their main buildings during the Holy Month of Ramadan to extend financial support to underprivileged Emirati families in collaboration with the Community Development Authority in Dubai.
