Department of Municipal Affairs
In a step aimed to evaluate work performance and results achieved in projects undertaken by different Sectors in the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA), H.E. Majid Ali Al Mansouri Chairman of the DMA reviewed during a meeting with the Managing Directors of different sectors in the Department of Municipal Affairs the current working plans and future working models and ways of enhancing the capabilities of employees and resources to meet the requirements of the future working model endorsed by his excellency the chairman in order to enhance the services provided by the municipal System to the residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The meeting reviewed the details of current projects and future working plans and its strategic goals and to what extent it is aligned with the Abu Dhabi Policy Agenda which aimed to achieve economic, social and environmental sustainable development in the Emirate.
Enhancing the municipal working mechanism to provide the best possible services to the citizens of the Emirate was the main focus of the meeting where the Chairman of the DMA emphasized on the importance to develop these services and enhance customers satisfaction.
In order to guarantee the best results H.E. Al Mansouri referred to the necessity to enhance the integration of financial aspects of different projects in different sectors in the DMA and also enhance the Governance principles in the Municipal System and develop the capabilities of the local workforce to meet the ambitions of the government to develop Municipal services provided to the citizens, investors and visitor of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
