Private and government organizations were honored for their joint cooperation and exchange of expertise by Dubai Police at a ceremony held on March 26, 2014, at the Intercontinental, Dubai Festival City.
The annual event is the Fifth Forum for Suppliers, Contractors and Service Providers. Major General Mohammad Saeed Bakhit, Director of the General Department of Services and Facilities, and Maj. Gen Abdulrahman Mohd Rafi, Assistant Commander for Community Service and Supplies attended the ceremony amongst other government officials and managers from the private sector.
Mr. Khalil Saqer Bin Gharib, Director of Corporate Communication, Dubai Customs received a plaque from Lt. Abdel Rahman Al Rafee, and Lt. Mohammed Saaed Bakhit, for Dubai Customs’ Joint-Cooperation and Exchange of Expertise to Dubai Police.
“We are proud of the exchange of expertise and joint cooperation with Dubai Police Not only do we see Dubai Police as a government department but a strategic partner, where we mutually benefit from the exchange of expertise and the joint cooperation. We work hand in hand together for the overall betterment of our organizations. ” Mr. Khalil Saqer Bin Gharib said.
Furthermore, Mr. Khalil thanked the effective participation between both departments, and the strong motivation to continue working together. He continued on “Being honored holds a special significance for us, because it’s a simple token of appreciation which paints a bigger picture for our joint cooperation.”
Additionally, Mr. Khalil expressed his contentment for being one of four government departments to receive this distinguished plaque, he stressed the importance of working together for the betterment of the community. He pointed out that the joint-cooperation and constant support is a definite factor aiding in achieving Dubai Customs’ mission of protecting the society and sustaining economic development through compliance and facilitation.
“This mutual cooperation and support between Dubai Customs and Dubai Police is not only essential for them but us as well, due to many factors, one is the fact that this joint cooperation assists in living up to our goals as well as giving back to the community,” continued Mr. Khalil Saqer.
The Fifth Forum for Suppliers, Contractors and Service Providers is a great platform where several officials from government and private organizations meet and discuss their achievements and objectives, and a great opportunity for strategic partners to meet and strengthen organizational relations.
