Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat” presented its strategy for promoting its trademarks during its participation in the “Emirates Franchise” exhibition that specializes in exclusive franchise rights, retail issues, and small and medium enterprises. The exhibition was held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai, and witnessed that participation of over 80 exhibitors from 18 country.
Dr. Rahma bin Mohamed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager at "Emarat", said that the Corporation considered the exhibition as a valuable opportunity that would permit it to present and promote its trademarks in order to expand the scopes of the names. He further added that such exhibitions are unique opportunities for trademarks owners to exchange expertise and good ideas, in addition to presenting their products, exploring development channels, and establishing their existence in the local and regional markets.
Dr. Al Shamsi also said that Emarat’s stand was sought by visitors and investors who had many questions and inquiries regarding the Corporation’s trademarks and the strategies implemented for promoting the said trademarks. The visitors listened to explanations related to the mechanisms of granting franchise rights to investors who are interested in unique trademarks.
Among Emarat’s trademarks that were presented in the exhibition was Freshplus, which is a chain of modern and highly developed convenience stores that is considered a distinctive change in the concept of modern shopping in convenient and comfortable atmospheres. Freshplus focuses on high quality and value. Another Emarat trademark is Bakeria, which the first of its kind in the Middle East. Bakeria offers a wide selection of snacks, meals, sandwiches, fresh bread and pastries. Café Arabicca complements Bakeria, as it offers fresh and rich coffee blends and drinks.
