Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Qasimi Publications in Sharjah, under which Emarat shall sell and market a selection of the books written by His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, at the Corporation's service stations.
Dr. Rahma bin Mohamed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager at Emarat, said "We are very happy with our participation in the marketing and promotion of His Highness's books, available in three languages; Arabic, English and Hindi. We aim to spread cultural and intellectual awareness among the largest sector in the community to enhance the society's knowledge of many literary, artistic and drama issues, in addition to major historical and political events of the UAE, from His Highness's point of view, as he is considered a live witness and a participant in a lot of these events that led to the foundation of the state."
Dr. Al Shamsi further added "We are displaying His Highness's books in a distinct way that makes them accessible to the public in the Corporation's service stations." He also added that the revenues of all the sold books will be donated to Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services. Finally, Dr. Al Shamsi praised the fruitful cooperation with Al Qasimi publications, the entity in charge of publishing and marketing all of His Highness's books.
