Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, announced today its strategic partnership with Omega Dubai Ladies Masters 2011, which is being held in Dubai for the sixth year running. The championship is a flagship event on the Ladies European Tour, and has been held in Dubai since 2006.
Emirates NBD is a long-term strategic partner of 'golf in DUBAi', which was set up in 2005, to organise this and other events that promote Dubai as a world-class golfing destination. Omega Dubai Ladies Masters is one of two premier golfing events supported annually by Emirates NBD. The bank is also an ongoing partner of the world-famous Dubai Desert Classic each year.
“We are pleased once again to partner with Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, which has become an annual opportunity for us to showcase our commitment to encouraging sporting activities in the UAE.” said Rick Pudner, Group CEO, Emirates NBD.
Emirates NBD will also utilise its presence at this year’s high profile golfing event to generate greater awareness regarding breast cancer and the risks associated with the disease. To encourage support for the cause, Emirates NBD has organised various activities and promotions for spectators attending the Dubai Ladies Masters golfing tournament.

We are pleased to join hands with our partners, 'golf in DUBAi', to promote awareness of this important issue and to help raise charitable donations.”
The initiative will help raise donations for Breast Cancer Arabia http://www.breastcancerarabia.com, a free, interactive internet platform which was launched earlier this year to provide high quality information about breast cancer, and a treatment and support network for the unfortunate victims of the disease.
Omega Dubai Ladies Masters will take place from Sunday 11th - Saturday 17th December, 2011.
