Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), which was recently awarded the CSR Label Award by Dubai Chamber of Commerce for its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, has extended its ‘Human Fuel’ charity campaign across the entire ENOC/EPPCO service station network including the ZOOM stores at Dubai Metro stations.
Donation boxes are now placed across all service stations and retail outlets to encourage customers to participate in the charity initiative that raises funds to support the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Dubai Charity Association to address global hunger.
Those who are interested can also visit https://wfp.org/enoc, a dedicated and secure website, to make their donation. The donations will go towards special programmes, such as school meals, to provide food where it is most needed.
ENOC will also continue its ‘Human Fuel’ campaign through the Holy Month of Ramadan. All its retail outlets and service stations will highlight the message of the campaign. A special awareness session will be held to encourage people to take part in the initiative.

As per 2012 estimates by the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organisation, nearly 870 million across the world were suffering from chronic undernourishment and severe hunger, and nearly all of them living in developing nations.
ENOC undertakes various activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan to support the community. Emirates Gas, a subsidiary of ENOC, has joined hands with Dar Al Ber Society to provide 300 disadvantaged families in the UAE with free LPG refill.
Over the years, ENOC has demonstrated its thought leadership in undertaking innovative CSR initiatives. The organisation has won Asia’s top laurel for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices at the Asian Leadership Awards, and the Bizz Award, one of the most prestigious business awards world-wide, for outstanding corporate social responsibility practices.
