Chef Luca Moriconi, the new Head Chef of the Italian hotspot Vivace
Four Seasons Hotel Amman is pleased to announce the addition of Chef Luca Moriconi to its family as the new Head Chef of the Italian hotspot Vivace. The addition of such a high calibre of culinary talent within the Hotel's F&B team is set to further boost its well-deserved reputation as an unparalleled dining destination in the city.
Chef Moriconi brings more than 10 years of experience in the culinary world to the table. His love for his country and its food and his penchant for travel has led him to turn his passion into a full-time career as an Italian chef at some of the most interesting destinations in the world.
Chef Moriconi moves to Four Seasons Hotel Amman from its sister property in Damascus, Syria. Prior to his stint in the inspiring Damascene kitchens, Chef Moriconi worked at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in his homeland Italy. His love of working with traditional Italian ingredients and showcasing the diverse flavours of Italy's culinary regions began in his hometown of Lucca in Tuscany, and was honed when he joined a culinary college program and perfected through training in several Italian restaurants.
Commenting on the appointment, Khaled Bseiso, Director of Food & Beverage, Four Seasons Hotel Amman said: "Chef Luca brings an experienced palate and a great deal of flair to the preparation of authentic Italian food and we are excited to see what he has in store for diners here in Amman."
Chef Moriconi adds that his focus will be to introduce guests to the breadth and variety of Italian cuisine. "I want to create a menu that showcases more than what one always associates with Italian food. The country has a very rich culinary heritage and each region has its own unique ingredients, techniques and favourites and this is what I want our guests to experience."
When he isn't whipping up delicious Italian delicacies in the kitchen, Chef Luca enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures, spending time with his family, playing the drums and riding his vintage Vespa.
