IHG cluster office celebrates World environment day

In the event of World Environment Day, which took place June 5^th, the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) office in Jordan has undertaken several activities, in which all colleagues participated.

Throughout the week, the colleagues joined in various activities for the sake of saving the environment, and making it a greener place for all inhabitants. The activities included having a paper-less day, as well as carpooling. Also, a painting of a tree has been done by the colleagues in the office, as a constant reminder of the importance of having a greener environment. Moreover, each colleague has a small plant at their desks that they are responsible for. And finally an ongoing recycling initiative has started in the office, in which paper, plastics and cans are collected in order to be recycled.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) cluster office in Jordan is in charge of the sales and marketing for the IHG hotels that are owned by Social Security, and include: InterContinental Aqaba Resort, Crowne Plaza Amman, Crowne Plaza Petra, Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa (which is to be opened in the last quarter of 2012). And Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea.
