Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, organised a blood donation campaign recently at the company’s headquarters in Jebel Ali. Nearly 200 Imdaad employees donated blood during the two-day campaign, which was undertaken in cooperation with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and forms part of the company’s broad Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
“Donating just a minimal amount of blood already constitutes a gift of life, especially when you consider that blood has a limited shelf life. We appreciate the active support from our employees towards this initiative which underlines Imdaad’s spirit of community work and humanitarianism. We also thank the team from Dubai Health Authority for extending their total support throughout the campaign. As a company that gives utmost priority to corporate social responsibility, Imdaad will be regularly involved in various initiatives that benefit the community and make a difference in the wellbeing of the nation,” said Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO, Imdaad.
CSR is a core value for Imdaad and is at the heart of everything it does. The company engages in various CSR activities aimed at making a positive impact on consumers, employees, the environment, the community and the public at large.
Imdaad has gained a strong reputation in the region as an adopter and implementer of the latest FM technologies and practices. The company acquires eco-friendly equipment and prioritizes sustainability across all its operations. It also conducts recycling training for its clients, corporate partners and staff, in addition to providing free recycling bins in certain projects where it handles waste management and collection service.
