As part of its ongoing aims to play a pivotal role in youth empowerment, Jordan Ahli Bank recently sponsored the Model United Nations Conference which was held at the National Orthodox School in Amman (NOSMUN Conference).
The Bank’s sponsorship of this particular eventstemmed directly from its anticipation of the positive impact it is to have on the participating students’ lives, as it perfectly embodies Jordan Ahli Bank’s belief in contributing significantly to national developmental and educational efforts made to steer the country forward. More specifically, the conference will enable its participants to enhance their individual analytical skills, leadership skills, and their communication abilities.
Taking on the structure and format of a United Nations General Assembly meeting, the conference enabled participants to discuss pressing Social,National, and International issues. Its proceedings also shed light on the different duties and policies adopted by the United Nations. Taking on the roles of United Nations delegates and ambassadors, students were also exposed to a unique experience in which they were able to discuss world issues first hand.
Jordan Ahli Bank management stated that the bank is always keen on sponsoring events that empower youth. The MUN conference takes on an important space in the Bank’s agenda as it presents an effective platform for youth and decision makers to come together in a space that allows for a healthy exchange of ideas. Furthermore, this event enables youth to learn more about the practical world, thus effectively preparing them to take on a pivotal role of responsibility in their country’s future.
During the event’s proceedings Jordan Ahli Bank represented by Rania Nasrawi, Executive Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communicationsalso received a plaque of recognition for its sponsorship.
