Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Vice Chairman of Khalifa University’s Board of Trustees, Khalifa University will organize the 6th International Conference for Internet Technology and Secured Transactions (ICITST2011) on December 11-14th, 2011 at Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The ICITST is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practical implementation of secured Internet transactions and to fostering discussions on information technology evolution. The ICITST aims to provide a highly professional and comparative academic research forum that promotes collaborative excellence between academia and industry. In particular, the objectives of the ICITST are to bridge the knowledge gap between academia and industry, promote research esteem in secured Internet transactions and the importance of information technology evolution to secured transactions.
The conference will have five main tracks and 7 workshops running alongside. A total of 140 papers spread over 30 technical sessions will be presented at the conference written by 385 authors from 43 countries. The conference also invited 5 renowned keynote speakers in the fields of Security, Cybernetics, and Ubiquitous Computing. The conference will also include a panel discussion which will provide an opportunity for public discussion.
The event received sponsorship from Dassault Aviation (Platinum), and Emirates Advanced Investments and Cassidian (Gold). The conference is also technically supported by the Infonomics Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the British Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) Middle East Section, SAP, World Scientific and Palgrave MacMillan. The proceedings of the conference will be published by the IEEE.
