Affirming its commitment to continue its support to SMEs, Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions, announced the official opening of its first exclusive Business Banking Centre in Dubai. Located in the heart of Dubai’s business hub in Muraqqabat, Deira, the new Centre will offer a comprehensive range of services to SMEs, through a dedicated and experienced team of Customer Service Associates and Account Managers.

The inauguration of the Centre was attended by Farhad Dhun Irani - Head of Retail Banking Group, Shaker Zainal - Regional Head of distribution and Rohit Garg, Head of Business Banking along with select Business Banking Clients.

Two highly convenient SME platforms were launched in 2014 by Mashreq; the first is the SME Direct, which provides a dedicated online banking platform for the SME Business Banking customers. Its’ goal is for customers to stay updated on the balance of their accounts, credit cards, and loans, in addition to being able to transfer funds to any account across the globe and pay their bills to a range of service providers in the UAE. The second platform is the SMEXchange, which is a free-to-join business community platform that is open to all SMEs. It offers users the resources, information and tools that are highly beneficial in day-to-day businesses. The key feature in the SMEXchange is the Marketplace, which allows SMEs to advertise their products and services to other users of the platform, helping them expand their client networks.
