MoF Organises Annual Ramadan Forum for its Employees
In line with its commitment towards building a strong, coherent and compassionate society, and in reflection of the Holy month’s values, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) held its Annual Ramadan Forum yesterday. The event brought together MoF’s staff and senior management, with the participation of a group of orphans and children with special needs who are sponsored by the UAE Red Crescent.
HE Younis Haji Al Khouri, Undersecretary of MoF, attended the forum, which was held at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel and Spa in Abu Dhabi, along with assistants and directors of departments in addition to MoF and the UAE Red Crescent’s staff.
This event reflects MoF’s eagerness and commitment to implement all initiatives aimed at strengthening coherence and consolidating the bonds between staff and senior management, which plays a prominent role in raising the performance level of the Ministry in general. In addition, the Ministry is committed to inviting members of the community to the Annual Forum. This year, they coordinated with the UAE Red Crescent to provide MoF’s staff the opportunity to meet with orphans and children with special needs in an atmosphere that reflects the meaning of Ramadan. It also confirms the Ministry's commitment to social responsibility.
At the end of the Forum, HE Al Khouri honored the UAE Red Crescent for the great efforts in supporting and assisting various segments of society both locally and internationally. These efforts enhance the status of the UAE on the international scene in the humanitarian and social fields.
It should be noted that MoF continuously seeks to organise many charity events and social activities that emphasises its ceaseless contribution to the wellbeing of the local community.
