During the open day at Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism
As part its commitment to social responsibility and support for the Jordanian hospitality sector, Nabil Foods sponsored the Open Day activities held at Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism (JAU, previously known as Ammon College) on Wednesday, May 16th. The event coincided with the 66th annual Independence Day celebrations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
For the fifth year in a row, Nabil Foods’ sponsorship of this event emphasizes its belief that private sector institutions must play a role in supporting the Kingdom’s education system. Considering Nabil’s prominent role as Jordan’s leading food producer, the company is especially supportive of educational programs that prepare students for success in the hospitality and tourism industry upon graduation.
“Throughout the course of the past five years, we have forged a very fruitful collaboration with JAU,” commented Nabil Foods Marketing Director, Farah Rassam. “We have relished the opportunity to share our wealth of experience in the food and hospitality industries with these college students, and in turn we learned ourselves about the potential growth in the Jordanian market with further cooperation among related industries. We want to do our part cultivating this growth, and we are happy to provide quality services to these students to help them build a successful career.”
