Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the exclusive dealers of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, and Mercedes-Benz official Field Force Team announced the launch of their Mobile Workshop in Doha, a roaming vehicle checkup and training service which will be available for two weeks starting November 26, 2011.
The Mercedes-Benz Field Force will visit customers wherever they are across Qatar to check their vehicles and give them hands-on training on driving and car performance.
Khaled Shaa’ban, General Manager of NBK Automobiles said: “We understand the limitations our working schedules upon each and every one of us and therefore we have called upon our Mercedes-Benz Field Force team of highly qualified experts to come to Qatar and provide efficient and convenient service and check-up for all our customers as we place very high importance on ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained and safe and that every driver is capable of handling the car effectively and in all conditions.”
Shaa’ban added: “Our very own global experts from Germany will be joining the Field Force team to offer expert advice on parts in addition to carrying an overall inspection of the vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz Field Force team will visit various areas nationwide and will meet with customers residing in as far as Dukhan, Ras Laffan, Messaid etc. This proactive team will perform mobile workshop services offering customers free vehicle inspection checks and diagnosis, driver training, maintenance and repair technical advice and tips, service repair packages for 2011 and competitive prices on spare parts packages.
There are 5 Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Qatar. Shaa’ban further explained: “This initiative provides an ideal opportunity to further support our customers at their premises and provide them with specialist support and advice in order to keep their fleet moving safely.”
The Field Force team will also offer complimentary oil services and tyre checks for selected customers. Consisting of around 5 people and 5 vehicles, the Field Force team will take care of the majority of inspections and repairs on-site at the customer’s premises. The Driver Training Program will educate drivers on two core competencies; defensive and economic driving, in order to ensure the vehicles are operated at their optimum efficiency with upmost safety.
