Greg Young, Nawras new CEO
The board of directors of the Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company SAOG (“Nawras”) are pleased to announce the appointment of a new CEO, Greg Young, with effect from 23 October 2013. Greg will replace Ross Cormack, who will be taking up another leading role in the Ooredoo group.
Greg is a telecoms professional with 29 years of experience in the wireless and telecommunications industry, encompassing executive management and both commercial and technical roles with leading operators. Prior to joining Nawras, he worked as CEO of Sri Lanka Telecom, the second largest publically listed company in the country with over 10,000 employees across the group.
