Goh Chok Tong, Emeritus Senior Minister, Republic of Singapore and Senior Advisor to the Monetary Authority of Singapore
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) proudly announces that Goh Chok Tong, Emeritus Senior Minister, Republic of Singapore and Senior Advisor to the Monetary Authority of Singapore has joined the bank’s prestigious International Advisory Board.
Mr Goh is a former Prime Minister of Singapore and has served in various other Singapore government positions including as Ministers of Trade and Industry, Defence and Health. From 2004 until 2011, he served as chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He holds an MA in Development Economics from Williams College in the States.
NBK is the only Arab bank to have an International Advisory Board. The 20 member board includes world recognized political leaders, businessmen, bankers and economists including former British Prime Minister Sir John Major, HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab, Pimco CEO and co-CIO Mohamed El Erian and Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani.
