Diners headed to Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates can look forward to experiencing something new, as the popular 5-star hotel welcomes a brand new Executive Chef at the helm of its constantly evolving F&B operation.
With the formidable experience of a 20-year career in the culinary world – six of which have been spent as part of the Kempinski group in properties across the Middle East – Chef Sudqi Naddaf exemplifies the high calibre of talent that makes up Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates' multi-award winning team.
"Having a regional culinary star such as Chef Sudqi take the reins at our property reflects the success we enjoy in terms of attracting and retaining some of the best talent in the business," says Alejandro Bernabé, General Manager, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. "Our approach is always to keep things exciting for our patrons while retaining the high quality that has won us the loyalty of thousands of guests. Our success so far reflects our ability to keep happy customers returning while continuing to win new fans."
Named the Champion for Middle East and Africa for "Kempinski The Spa Cuisine" and a popular TV celebrity back home in Jordan where he hosted and dispensed cooking tips on the call-in cooking show 'Baity', Chef Naddaf is a well-recognised authority in his field. His TV background and broad understanding of the F&B landscape also makes him a savvy marketer and he has been responsible for putting properties on the culinary map with high-profile stunts such as creating the highest cake – a 65-tier creation baked to celebrate Jordan's 65th National Day – displayed in the lobby of Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea.
Commenting on his appointment Chef Naddaf said, "It is exciting to move to a city that has a truly mature dining landscape comparable with that found in some of the world's biggest culinary capitals. The Dubai F&B scene is highly competitive which offers an excellent impetus for chefs like me to keep things fresh for diners."
