Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, participated in the Gulf University of Science and Technology 17th Career Fair as platinum sponsor. The fair was inaugurated by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs Sheikha Alzain Al-Sabah, and received visitors for two days. Ooredoo was available at the event and was headed by Chief of Human Resources and Administration Services Saleh Al-Houti.
Driven by its social responsibility, Ooredoo is keen to take part in such occasions as it is always willing to support youth and help them reach their potential and shape their career paths.
In a statement to the press, Ooredoo Chief of Human Resources and Administration Services said: “Youth have a major part in our corporate social responsibility program. We strongly believe in the role they play in creating a better future. We especially believe in talented Kuwaiti youth, who can be partners in our success as a telecom service provider operating in Kuwait.”
Ooredoo Kuwait’s Human Resources representatives were present at the Ooredoo’s booth and briefed thousands of students about the benefits of working for Ooredoo and the different career growth opportunities provided by the company, as well as internship opportunities.
This is not the first time that Ooredoo has taken part in a job fair; it has successfully participated in several job fairs in the past. The company’s aim is to open new horizons for the ambitious youth by giving them an opportunity to apply their educational knowledge to the professional world.
