PepsiCo-Jordan winner of the 2009 and 2010 King Abdullah II Award for Excellence, donated influenza vaccines to Rsaifeh municipality. The vaccines were presented to the Rsaifeh Municipality Committee’s Chairman Eng. Saleh Al-Abbadi, at the municipality’s headquarters, in the presence of the Head of Rsaifeh municipality, Dr. Issam Al-Ghazzawi and a number of PepsiCo-Jordan executives.
PepsiCo-Jordan annually supports a number of initiatives aimed at promoting a sound and healthy society. The vaccine donation is yet another initiative that reflects the Company’s genuine interest in playing a positive and effective role within the local community, particularly in Rsaifeh municipality.
Commenting on the occasion, PepsiCo East Med and Africa HR Director Sufian Al Salman stated, “We at PepsiCo-Jordan continuously strive to interact with local community organizations, and we are proud of our ongoing and fruitful partnership with Rsaifeh municipality. Through our various activities, we seek to cater to the needs of the local community in order to enable them to actively participate in achieving local socio-economic growth.”
In turn, Eng. Al-Abbadi highlighted the strong relationship linking Rsaifeh municipality and PepsiCo-Jordan. He also lauded the Company’s invaluable community programs and activities that aim to support both the municipality and the local community on all fronts, particularly on the health front.
In recognition of its vaccine donations, PepsiCo-Jordan received a letter of gratitude from the Chairman of the Rsaifeh Municipality Committee, who also wished the Company the best of luck in its future endeavors.
