Samsung Electronics Co. Samsung’s participation at GESS is in line with its support towards UAE’s goal to dynamically transform the country’s educational landscape by introducing technology based learning. At the event, Samsung will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of products that can be customized to be integrated in an educational environment to make it more intuitive, interactive and smart.
“Technology based learning will play an integral role in the transformation of UAE’s educational sector; hence the need to provide students with the latest in classroom innovation and dynamic educational tools that would help them learn better. Samsung’s participation at GESS signifies our commitment to providing the region with tailor-made solutions that encourage a superior digital learning environment for teachers and students,” said Madhav Narayan, Regional Director, GCC, Enterprise Business at Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Under the theme ‘Interactive Smart Classroom Solutions’, Samsung will demonstrate a smart and dynamic digital learning environment, displaying a host of products in a modern school-like setting. Products on display at Samsung’s stand at GESS will include the Samsung GALAXY Tabs range, notebooks, Interactive E-Board, Video Wall, Digital Signage Solutions and the next generation Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface.
Educational institutions including schools and universities can effectively convert a conventional learning setting into modern-day classroom by utilizing Samsung’s range of Galaxy Tabs, notebooks and Interactive E-board. Using the Interactive E-Board’s Classroom Management software teachers can send what's on the board to the students' GALAXY Tabs or notebooks and monitor their devices in real time. Additionally, Samsung’s Digital Signage Solutions and Video Wall can be used in the reception and the waiting areas to display information or announcements to the visitors.
To appeal to the new-age students, libraries at any educational institution can be transformed into a Digital Resource Center with the use of the Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface and tablets. Students can read the course material and reference books on the GALAXY Tabs while the Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface can be used for productive group learning sessions or projects.
