As part of Tamkeen’s continuous community outreach visits, representatives from Tamkeen held orientation sessions in several community centres across Bahrain’s five governorates, with an average audience of around 60 people during each visit.
Some of the visits included Al Doy Family Majlis, AlKooheji Family Majlis, Matam Karimi in Muharraq, Matam Ras Ruman in Manama, Shakhoora Youth Centre, Riffa Social Centre, and many others.
Tamkeen’s Customer Engagement Senior Manager Yousif Ali said in a comment, “We are constantly looking for ways to be closer to our customers and further entrench Tamkeen’s name as an enabler of development for Bahrainis and enterprises in the private sector.”
Tamkeen has been actively building its capacities in the community engagement area given the diversity and number of support programmes it offers, as well as the surge in number of beneficiaries served, which currently stands at 77,000 Bahrainis and enterprises.
The community outreach visits are conducted across Bahrain to create further clarity and understanding about Tamkeen’s programmes to the public, while at the same time funnelling feedback through to the relevant units within the organisation.
The visits resulted in over 3,000 direct contacts with customers from all age groups and specialisations during the first five months of the current year 2013.
Tamkeen’s representatives also log issues raised by customers and coordinate with the relevant departments for resolution within the framework set for each programme.
