Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) recently announced that as of June 2012; its worldwide cumulative vehicle production has outstandingly exceeded 200 million units.
This milestone was achieved after 76 years and 11 months in the market, with the starting point being the production of Toyota’s first Model, the G1 truck back in August 1935, at Toyota’s Automatic Loom Works Ltd.’s Automotive Department, later developing into TMC. As of the end of June, Japan’s cumulative production marked 145.21 million vehicles, while overseas production marked 55.12 million vehicles.
Following this remarkable achievement, Marketing Manager at Central Trade and Auto Company Toyota’s sole dealer in the Kingdom Nadim Haddad highlighted that the remarkable results convey a major growth and evolution in Toyota’s production, operations, sales ,and expertise. This consequently, sheds light on the Company’s constant high performance and its determination for producing leading vehicles that meet the needs and align expectations.
Remarkably, the Corolla Toyota vehicle has been the most-produced model among other Toyota vehicles where its cumulative worldwide production recorded 39.08 million units by end of June.
