The award-winning Transguard Group, an Emirates Group company, has reached an impressive milestone with its ongoing strategic plan to upgrade and improve all of Transguard’s accommodation facilities across Dubai.
Through its property and logistics team, the total FM company has added more than 5,500 new beds and replaced some of its older buildings with refurbished and upgraded facilities for its growing workforce of 20,000 full time employees.
The three latest buildings that Transguard has acquired are at Dubai Investment Park (DIP) near Jebel Ali and at Sonapur, in the Muhaisnah area of Dubai near Deira and Al Ruwayyah. DIP is a brand new facility and will accommodate over 1,300 employees while the building in Sonapur, which means ‘Land of Gold’ in Hindi, will be home to just over 1,000 members of staff, while Al Ruwayyah will house an additional 3,000 personnel.
“These complexes feature extensive recreational facilities, such as outdoor sports, table tennis, table football, fully equipped gyms, Wi-Fi access throughout and 50 inch TVs with English Premier League football. They are also well situated, being within easy reach of supermarkets, barbershops, local restaurants and bus routes,” said Mark Povey, marketing and communications director at Transguard.
Last year the Transguard Group was the recipient of the ‘Overall Excellence in Safety – Contractor Award’ at the Dubai Airports Health Safety Environment Excellence Awards, for its significant contribution towards safety at the airport.
