Mr Abdulrazzaq Bader Al Essa and the Corporate Communications team at VIVA with the top 10 qualifying players
VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, hailed the successful conclusion of its first Real Madrid Academy, where the top 10 qualifying players from the Kuwait try outs travelled to Madrid, Spain and practiced at Ciudad Real Madrid (Valdebebas) training ground, from 1 until 8 August 2015 with expert Real Madrid coaches.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr Abdulrazzaq Bader Al Essa, Director of Corporate Communications at VIVA said: "We are very proud of each and every player who participated and demonstrated their skills, and particularly pleased with the enthusiasm the players have displayed since the beginning of the trip. We are very pleased to have been able to support these young athletes in bringing them closer to their dream of becoming professional football players.
“VIVA is very committed to encouraging young people in the community to develop their talents and hone their skills, and the Real Madrid Academy program is just one of the ways in which we are trying to do this." concluded Al Essa.
The training program comprised of several workshops and training activities educating the players on the best maneuvers, attacks, different scenarios and conditioned games. The program also focused on different technical areas, such as dribbling, short passing, turning and finishing. The training programs were also designed to develop young players in other fields, such as tactical understanding, and mental, physical and social growth.
The top 10 players were selected from over 400 participants who joined the Real Madrid try outs, which were held in March 2015. All the players who chosen to travel to Madrid, Spain to join a fully funded week-long training camp to be educated and trained by the best VIVA Real Madrid Academy coaches. Real Madrid Academy is one of the leading football training institutions located in middle of the Spanish City, Madrid
