VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, announced today the launch of HD Voice, an exclusive free service that offers superior network voice capabilities to all VIVA customers. The service will be available for all customers starting 25 December 2013.
The HD Voice means high-definition voice, and it is an update to the current voice capabilities on VIVA’s network that allows customers using 3G enabled devices to hear and talk into the phone with almost double the quality of the current network and beyond the competition. HD Voice improves the call experience, allowing people to better share their feelings, do business and communicate information clearly. It also helps operators to differentiate their offerings and enable high quality services to voice dependent business like call center services, information services, and emergency services.
VIVA identified that there are more than 170 handsets that support HD Voice such as HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4; Apple’s iPhone 5, Apple’s iPhone 5S as well as many other handsets. Customers using these devices will receive the HD Voice service automatically, and will benefit from it further when both parties are talking on 3G or 4G LTE enabled devices.
