Ronda Locatelli's White Truffle
Atlantis, The Palm invites guests and residents to savour our the unique taste of exquisite white truffles specially flown-in from Italy at award-winning restaurant, Ronda Locatelli by Michelin star Chef Giorgio Locatelli. For centuries, people have travelled from near and far to experience the aroma and flavour of the white truffle. Found by truffle hunters from the grounds of the San Pietro a Pettine Estate, the gourmet white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico) is harvested each year from October to December. Chef Giorgio Locatelli has infused the white truffles in a selection of authentic a la carte Italian dishes available exclusively at Ronda Locatelli.
A special white truffle menu has been created with delectable dishes for diners to indulge in. Guests can begin with the Carpaccio Di Manzo Rucola, Grana, Tartufo Bianco, beef carpaccio under a bed of rocket salad topped with rich parmesan and white truffle. Diners can continue with main dishes infused with white truffles, available in selected starter or main portions. These include the appetizing homemade Tagliolini al Tartufo Bianco, tagliolini topped with aromatic white truffle, Risotto al Tartufo Bianco, parmesan risotto served with shavings of white truffle, Straccio Ripieno All’Occhio di Bue, PatateTartufo Bianco, a homemade egg yolk potato parcel with shavings of white truffle and Costoletta di Vitello Pure di Patate Tartufo Bianco, veal cutlet with potato puree topped with white truffle. Diners can choose Italy’s famous mouth-watering Zabaglione al Marsala, Tartufo Bianco, Marsala zabaglione topped with white truffle as the ultimate dessert to end the evening.
