In addition, it enables them to find money transfer agents in their vicinity, calculate fees and charges they would pay per transaction and access the latest currency exchange rates.
Xpress Money’s iPhone application (App) is the first in a series of mobile innovations that it intends to introduce to serve an increasingly mobile and technologically sophisticated customer base. It will also adapt to customer experience and feedback to come up with more unique product offerings.
The App contains four key features within a clean-cut, simple user interface. The ‘Transaction Tracker’ is designed to help track an Xpress Money transfer with a 16 digit X-Pin number, providing customers with the luxury of checking the status of their money transfer even when they are on the move. The ‘Find an Agent’ feature enables users to locate the nearest or most convenient agent using country, city and zip codes or the ‘Use Current Location’ option that provides maps and directions. The ‘Calculate Fee’ feature allows users to access competitive exchange rates, calculate fees and to estimate total transfer amounts.
