SABA Tower 1 complete and ready for delivery
SABA Real Estate, the Dubai-headquartered real estate major, has announced that SABA Tower 1, the first of the SABA Towers projects located in Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai, is ready for delivery following the successful completion of all works, making it the first tower within Jumeirah Lakes Towers to be ready for delivery.
SABA Tower 1 has become the first freehold and free zone office tower in Dubai to be issued the Certificate of Occupancy by Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza), paving the way for commencement of delivery. SABA Real Estate and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority (DMCCA), the master developer of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, worked closely with several governmental organizations such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (DU) and Palm District Cooling (PDC) to ensure that complete infrastructure facilities are in place at the tower, including power and water connection; chilled water supply; communication facilities such as telephone, fax, internet and GSM; access roads, landscape and parking, in addition to all legal formalities pertaining to trade license, residence visas and registration of title.
“It is a matter of pride to us that SABA Tower 1 has become the first tower in Jumeirah Lakes Towers to be ready for delivery,” said Behrouz Javaheri, Chairman, SABA Real Estate. “At SABA Real Estate, we not only see to it that materials of only the highest grade are used in the construction of our various projects, we have been equally scrupulous in ensuring timely completion and delivery of these projects to maximize returns for our investors. With the completion of SABA Tower 1, we reiterate our commitment to our investors. We thank the various organizations whose cooperation and support have made this possible, especially DEWA, Jafza, DU and DMCCA.”
A 36-storey tower with a total of 360,000 square feet of office space, SABA Tower 1 was launched in 2003 as the first office tower in Dubai to offer freehold luxury offices. The tower comes equipped with a host of state-of-the-art facilities, with each individual office featuring high-quality finished ceilings with specialty entrance doors and being offered on a core and shell basis for individual purchasers to fit-out.
Commenting on the completion of the SABA Towers, Ahmed bin Sulayem, General Manager of JLT said: “Jumeirah Lakes Towers marks a significant departure from the single industry-specific free zone development that has been the norm in Dubai and will cater to the broadest range of knowledge businesses in the Emirate. The completion of SABA Tower 1 is an important milestone for JLT and we congratulate SABA Real Estate for ensuring that the tower maintains high quality standards. As the master developer, DMCCA has also taken extensive care to ensure that the major infrastructure services to JLT are now substantially complete.”
The SABA Towers project also comprises SABA Tower 2 and 3, the first residential twin-towers in Dubai with a combined 700 apartment units. The twin-towers offer fully-furnished studio, one and two-bedroom apartments, in addition to three-bedroom and penthouse apartments, and features a state-of-art health club, temperature controlled swimming pool, high-speed elevators, professionally landscaped leisure areas and 24-hour security and facilities management services. SABA Tower 2 is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2006.
“SABA Real Estate has built its reputation on a firm commitment to deliver on its promises to the customer, and we are focused on ensuring that SABA Towers 2 and 3 are also completed within schedule. We realize that timely handover of projects has become as much an investor concern as construction quality and the facilities offered, and we are committed to allow our investors to take ownership of their properties without the least delay,” Javaheri concluded.
