Saudi eastern perfumes consumption rising
Consumption of eastern fragrances and incense in Saudi Arabia is estimated at more than 3.5 billion Saudi riyals ($933 million) yearly, according to Abdul-Aziz Jasser, chairman of the board of the Arabian Eastern Fragrances and Incenses Trading Company.
Jasser added that his company controls 30 percent of the domestic eastern fragrances and incense market, maintaining an average 20 to 25 percent sales growth per annum.
On the whole, Saudis spend some one billion riyals annually on incense purchases alone, reported Al-Watan daily. ― (MENA Report)
