Saudi ministry of health orders nine BioZ systems
CardioDynamics, Impedance Cardiography (ICG) technology manufacturer, has received an order for nine BioZ.com, noninvasive digital cardiac function monitoring systems. The systems will be placed in three Ministry of Health hospitals located in Saudi Arabia.
The company's proprietary technology helps treat heart disease, the number one killer in Saudi Arabia. The BioZ Systems provide a method of obtaining vital cardiac function data to improve patient outcomes and decrease costs.
In 1970, there were only 74 hospitals with 9,030 beds in Saudi Arabia. By 2000, there were over 320 hospitals, with a capacity of almost 47,000 beds, with 60.8 percent of them belonging to the Ministry of Health.
CardioDynamics’ partners include GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Spacelabs Medical Systems and Vasomedical. The worldwide market potential for BioZ products is estimated to be $5 billion and an additional $800 million in recurring annual revenue for disposables, according to a company press release. — (menareport.com)
