Bahrain's Capital Municipal Council is preparing new regulations allowing taller buildings in certain quarters of Manama. According to the GDN, building owners in the Seef District, Juffair and the Diplomatic Area are likely to be given approval to build higher than in other parts of the city.
The proposal was made by the Municipalities and Agriculture Ministry about a month ago but it is dependent on the approval of the council.
