A BD10 million state-of-the-art car service and engineering complex, called the Toyota Plaza, is to be built in Isa Town, Bahrain. It is being built by Ebrahim K Kanoo, distributors of Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain, The GDN reported.
The first phase of the project will be finished in two years and located on a 27,000 square metre site north of the current Toyota service centre in Isa Town, said E K Kanoo Group president Mohammed Kanoo.
The second phase is a BD3 million body and paint service centre, which will start within six months. The centre will house the administration and the management offices, as well as training facilities for employees, on the first floor. The Toyota Plaza will harbor other facilities such as the Express Service section, staff restrooms, a cafeteria and a small clinic for first aid.
