The UAE and Pakistan signed on Sunday an agreement on mutual assistance and cooperation on customs issues. According to WAM news agency, the agreement was signed for the UAE by Mohammed Khalifa bin Fahd Al Muhairi, Director General of Federal Customs Authority and for Pakistan by Shahid Raheem Sheikh, Chairman of Pakistan's Customs.
In addition, the agreement provides for cooperation in areas of implementation of customs legislation, prevention of violations of custom laws in addition to exchange of information.
