UAE purchases 304 Lockheed Martin WCMDs
US-based Lockheed Martin Corporation was awarded a $63.79 firm fixed-price contract to provide the US airforce with 3,854 Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser (WCMD) tail kits, 304 of which were ordered for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the first foreign customer for the system. The deal supports a commercial sale of 80 F-16 Block 60 aircraft to the UAE government.
