US to invest $5 billion in Bahrain
The US is projected to invest $5 billion into Bahrain in the next decade as a result of the Free Trade Agreement, a top businessman said Sunday. According to the GDN, investments will come mainly in the form of joint ventures, said Bahrain Export Development Society chairman Yousef Mashal.
Researches have indicated the potential of the FTA, if it is fully utilised, he added. Dr. Mashal made these comments ahead of a one-day FTA conference which opens at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel and Towers Monday.
