US$300 million Kuwaiti grant for Lebanon
The Kuwaiti cabinet approved a US$300 million grant for Lebanon to reconstruct the state after the destruction caused by the ongoing Israeli attacks. Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Badr Al Humaidhi told Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) following the cabinet meeting Sunday that in accordance to the directives of the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah this draft forwarded to the Parliament to be approved.
The cabinet donated US$20 million earlier this week for Lebanese and Palestinian people.
